The first quarter of 2016 has been a period of significant growth for Global Proofreading and Copy-editing Ltd. We've had work in from places as far afield as Colombia, Iraq, Holland, Uzbekistan, the UK, Russia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Switzerland, Mexico, Estonia, Turkey, Ethiopia, the USA and many more. Thank you all very much for being part of our success story.
Let's make spring 2016 even better!
Here at Global Proofreading and Copy-editing Ltd. we are gearing up for our very first annual spring sale! There will be a wide range of discounts depending on:
If you are one of our valued returning customers.
The length of your manuscript.
The standard of English.
What exactly you would like us to do for you.
If it's related to the English language then we can help!
So how much does Global Proofreading and Copy-editing’s English Language Correction Service actually cost?
One of the first questions a prospective client asks Global Proofreading when submitting a manuscript is of course, ‘How much is it going to cost?’ The answer is usually around £15.00 per 1000 words, a competitive rate in today’s economic climate.
However, it’s not always quite as simple as that. The standard of English varies dramatically from person to person; grammar, lexis, word order, spelling, punctuation, cohesion and coherence all play a major role. It might take one of Global Proofreading and Copy-editing's team members an hour to thoroughly check and correct just 200 or 300 words in one manuscript, while another might take the same amount of time to go through 2000 words, simply because of the differences in the standard of English.
You can check for yourself how long it took for us to edit your work, as the ‘Track Changes’ function on Word clearly shows the precise time of each correction. So the overall cost tends to vary, although we always offer the very best price we can!
To take advantage of the range of discounts we will offer in this sale throughout the spring of 2016, send us your manuscripts!
I wish you all the very best for this spring and the fast approaching summer season.
